The quarterfinalists have been found at the 2009 NZ Junior Championships 18u which are currently being held at Albany Tennis Park, North Shore.

The top two seeds Adam Lee (Akld) and Jordan Kelly-Houston (Cant) have had straight set wins so far and are through to the quarterfinals. Unseeded Matt Alexander (Nrthn) caused an upset yesterday beating third seed Jamie Eccleton (Akld) and has continued his winning streak beating thirteenth seed Tem Asafu-Adjaye (Akld) this morning to secure his spot in the quarters.  Fourth seed Marco Comuzzo (Nrthn) has also had some convincing wins leading into the quarterfinals.

In the girls, top seed Imogen Golder (Akld) meets Southern's Louise Oxnevad in the first girls quarterfinal. Libby Scott (Sthrn) knocked out the second seed Kate Parker (Akld) in straight sets and will meet fifth seed Christine Foote in the quarters. Third and fourth seeds Waikato-Bays Heidi Stewart and Dana Gray (pictured in main pic) have also moved in the quarterfinals with straight set wins.

Girls Quarterfinals kick off from 10.15am with boys starting from 11am tomorrow (Monday).
