Vodafone Warriors ambassador Peter Leitch has turned back the clock to publish a yearbook for the 2010 NRL season.
The 72-page 2010 Vodafone Warriors Yearbook went on sale at Mad Butcher stores on Friday (December 11), costing $10, with all proceeds going to Diabetes New Zealand. Leitch said the yearbook – produced by Suburban Newspapers – would also be available at First Mobile, Vodafone and Digital Mobile stores from early next week. “It’s crammed full of stories, pen portraits of the players in the NRL squad (a page for each player), an NRL team photo, the club’s 2010 draw and all sorts of incredible information on the boys we love to support,” said Leitch. Also included is information on the Vodafone Junior Warriors’ 2010 NYC squad. “It’s a must for any fan. I would go so far as to say the Christmas present is sorted for anyone you know who loves to cheer the boys on,” said Leitch. Featured in the yearbook are messages from Vodafone Warriors chief executive Wayne Scurrah, NRL head coach Ivan Cleary, new NRL captain Simon Mannering and NYC coach John Ackland. The club last had a yearbook for the 2005 NRL season.
