The Black Sticks Men arrived in Salta Argentina in the first week of December for the BDO Champions Challenge, with a goal of making the final. And that they did! The Black Sticks Men have just this morning beaten Pakistan in the final with a convincing win of 4-2. This result means the men, like the Black Sticks women have now qualified for the Champions Trophy in August 2010 in Monchengladbach, Germany. The results of their opening pool matches are as follows: Drew with India 2-2 in the first match, defeated Belgium 4-1 in the second, drew to China 2-2 in the third and defeated Argentina 3-2 in their semi-final over the weekend.
